Come join us on the first Saturday in February as we kick off this year's new Saturday Sampler.  This year we will feature three patterns -- one pieced quilt, one appliqué quilt, and one mystery quilt.  This year's applique pattern (Spring Joy) will celebrate the spring season with appliqued bunnies, chicks, kitties, and flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere.   We will provide the pattern and all fabrics for the blocks except for the background fabric.  You will be responsible for providing that fabric (2.5 yards).  We will have finishing kits available so that you can finish your quilt in the suggested layout and fabrics that coordinate with your quilt. They will be available only during the first 3 months of the program, and a $50 nonrefundable deposit must be made to secure your kit.

You will need to pre-register for this program so we can ensure we have a fabric kit ready for you on February 4. The way the program works is you come to the shop the first Saturday of every month (some months may change due to holidays) at either 9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to pick up your block kit and attend a shop presentation, during which we will show new fabrics, products, have demos, show and tell, and a raffle gift. Sometimes we even have guest speakers!  If you come to the session and your previous month’s block is completed, you will receive your next block for free. If you do not attend one of that month’s sessions or your block is not complete, you will need to pay $6 to get your next block and get back into the program. If you attend every month, at the end of the year you will have received all 12 blocks for your original joining fee.
