PUMPKIN CHEESE PIE
(Serves 8)

Whether you are staying home for the holidays or visiting others, ‘tis the season for this hearty and tasty dessert, a New England tradition.  Enjoy this one. 

(1) 8 ounce package of cream cheese
2 cups pumpkin puree
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie cruse

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth.
  3. Stir in the pureed pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and eggs.  Mix until well combined.  Pour batter into the pie shell.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from the edge comes out clean.  Serve warm.
